Ashley K. Rasmussen

Having practiced in both Michigan and Illinois and bringing over ten years of legal experience with her, Ashley Rasmussen joined Cohen Dovitz Makowka as a Senior Associate Attorney in 2019. From initial missed mortgage payments through eviction, and the numerous steps in between, Ashley successfully navigates clients through the world of default loan servicing.  

Growing up in rural Michigan, Ashley learned the importance of a strong work ethic, leading by example, and building relationships. Ashley continues to apply those tenets to her legal practice while advocating for her clients’ best interests and furthering their ultimate goals.   

Ashley received her Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University and her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University – Cooley Law School. Ashley remains active with her sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha, volunteering as the Chapter Advisor to the ladies at Northern Illinois University.
